She will provide alternative ways to treat her clients in attempts to reduce their need for certain medications and reduce healthcare costs.
Mary specializes in Prediabetes and Diabetes Management. Nutrition Education is essential for promoting positive outcomes. Through interaction with a Certified Diabetes Educator, anyone who already has Diabetes or is at risk of developing Diabetes will be given the knowledge and skills required to successfully manage their condition.
There is no standard nutrition plan as there is no standard client. Every client is treated as an individual. Mary will do a comprehensive nutrition assessment to determine the client's specific needs and devise an individualized program. Education and counseling are tailored to the individual. Goals are to reach optimal health, a better quality of life and reduced medical costs.
